SF6 Gas Densimeter IP-63 Series

Application

IP-63 SF6 Gas Densimeter is widely used in the high/medium voltage switchgear and other electric power appliances. It absorbed the advantages from other products and made its own unique mechanism. This densimeter is used for detecting and controlling the SF6 gas density inside the electrical equipment, to ensure the equipment works properly, to prevent the leakage of the SF6 gas and to protect the equipment.

Working Principle

The IP-63 series pointer type SF6 Gas Densimeter works on the condition of temperature compensation, to show the SF6 gas density. When it is within the densimeter's working temperature range, the indicating pressure value would be the same as the pressure value indicated when the temperature is 20°C.

When the equipment is filled with rated pressure of SF6 gas, the gas pressure would increase and reduce which is affected by the temperature. At this time, the temperature compensation device of the densimeter would work to keep the indicating pressure to be the same value.

Only when there is SF6 gas leakage, and the pressure has reduced to the setting value of alarm, the equipment would send out the alarm signal to remind the workers for the pressure reducing.

When the pressure reduces to the locking pressure value, the equipment would send out the locking signal, and the control system would stop the equipment.

With stainless steel shield, appearance is nice and small size.
Contact is gold plated, open/break power is large, contact resistance is small.

Digital SF6 Density With Online Monitoring

Purpose

SF6 high-voltage circuit breakers are widely used in power systems. The reliable operation of SF6 high-voltage circuit breakers has become one of the most critical concerns for the power supply sector. The SF6 gas density relay is used to detect the changes in the SF6 gas density inside the SF6 high-voltage circuit breaker during operation. The quality of its performance directly impacts the operational safety of the SF6 high-voltage circuit breaker.

The HRF-Y63-SZYC Digital Remote SF6 Density Online Monitoring Device (referred to as "pressure gauge") is mainly used for controlling and monitoring the SF6 gas density in sealed containers. It is typically applied to SF6 high-voltage switches, medium-voltage switches, SF6 gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), high-voltage cables, transformers, and current transformers, and is suitable for harsh outdoor environments. The monitor has two or three sets of high-precision action contacts that can transmit alarm, lockout, or overpressure information to the target device terminal when the pressure reaches the preset threshold. Additionally, it has a reliable circuit transmission function, providing an effective platform for real-time data remote reading and information monitoring. The pressure, temperature, and density data are transmitted to the target device (typically a computer terminal), where the data is analyzed and used to control the corresponding terminal actions.

The HRF-Y63-SZYC Digital Remote SF6 Density Online Monitoring Device sends valid data to the target device via current or RS485 signals. The target device can read the density data in real time. The RS485 communication method ensures the integrity and accuracy of the data, providing a solid hardware platform for timely and effective control of the terminal devices.
