Application
IP-63 SF6 Gas Densimeter is widely used in the high/medium switch gear and other electric power appliances. It absorbed the advantage from other factories and made its only unique mechanism. This densimeter is used for detecting and controlling for the SF6 gas inside the electrical equipment, to ensure the equipment work properly, to prevent the leakage of the SF6 gas and protect the equipment.
Working Principle
The IP-63 series pointer type SF6 Gas Densimeter is working under condition of temperature compensation, to show the SF6 gas density. When it is within the densimeter's working temperature range, and the indicating pressure value would be same as the pressure value indicating when the temperature is 20℃.
When the equipment is filled with rated pressure of SF6 gas, the gas pressure data would be increased and reduced which is affected by the temperature. At this time, the temperature compensation device of the densimeter would work to keepping the pressure to be same value. Only when there is SF6 gas leakage, and the pressure has reduced to the setting valve of alarming, and the equipment would send out the alarm signal to remind the workers for the pressure reducing. When the pressure reduces to the locking pressure value, the equipment would send out the locking signal, and control system would stop the equipment.

Installation and Usage
The manometer must be vertically installed to the connector of the equipment
Screw the connector part of the manometer during installation, the spanner cannot screw on the manometer itself.
Increase or reduce the pressure on the manometer slowly to prevent damage.
During normally working, the anti-explosion screw on the shield must be released for 1-2 circles to make the inside air contact with outside, to guarantee the accuracy.
Remark: before using, the manometer is on the non-temperature compensation status. The pointer would change according to the temperature. When the temperature is above 20℃, the pointer would be under 0. When the temperature is under 20℃, the pointer would be above 0. When the temperature is every 10℃ lower or higher than 20℃, the pointer would be 0.02Mpa different accordingly. After the SF6 gas with rated pressure is filled into it, the manometer would work the according relative data of SF6 gas density and pressure at 20℃.
Acceptance and Stock
Check if the appearance of the packing is not damage.
Check the manometer if it is damaged. If the inspection certificate is inside the cartons.
The manometer need to be stocked inside warehouse which is dry, ventilated, and temperature is 0~40℃, humility is ≤80%, no corrosion medium inside the room.

Please mark out the rated pressure, alarm pressure, plug specification and if it is with silicon oil filled inside.
